Düsseldorf, 31 of December 2009 - net mobile AG (ISIN: DE0008137852), Europe's leading provider of mobile and interactive value added services, announces figures for the passed financial year 2008/09.

Turnover increased by 32.542 million EURO or 54,7% to 91.974 million EURO. Reasons for the positive development were products around the payment system, which recorded further significant accessions. Moreover, revenues from portal operators could be expanded pleasantly.

Adjusted for special factors, operating earning numbers displayed positively, which attributed to the significant improvement of results within the carrier segment on the one hand, and on the other hand to the acquisition of the minick group.

The takeover by NTT DOCOMO burdened the company with direct costs of 0.44 million EURO. Furthermore, existing domestic tax loss carry forwards were lost due to the majority takeover. Thereby, a depreciation of 6.250 million EURO had to be carried out for deferred taxes. A revaluation of the participations portfolio led to extraordinary depreciations of 0.579 million EURO.

Because of these special factors, the company had to report a negative result of – 6.195 million EURO despite a positive operative development.

The EBITDA result showed a positive development, despite burdens through heightened costs for the integration of minick group into the net mobile group. The EBITDA increased by 1.438 million EURO or 39,9% to 5.044 million EURO.

net mobile group closed the financial year with liquid assets of 3.407 million EURO (previous year 4.174 million EURO). The equity capital was reduced, mainly through the depreciations of deferred taxes and the aligned loss, by 6.717 million EURO. The equity capital ratio is at high 62.4% (previous year 66.8%).

In the course of a tender offer through the leading Japanese mobile provider NTT DOCOMO, shareholders were offered a purchase price of 6.35 EURO per share for selling their net mobile stocks. Within the scope of this offer, shareholders tendered 79.6% of all outstanding shares to DOCOMO Deutschland GmbH. After the conclusion of the transaction, net mobile AG is now a subsidiary of NTT DOCOMO group. The management board of net mobile expects significant advantages for the development of the net mobile AG through the integration into a group with global activities.
